Get Cracking for Christmas – Stampers Anonymous

Let’s Get Cracking with a card using Stampers Anonymous, “Holiday Drawings.” Celebrating Tim Holtz and Ranger’s new Distress Ink color, Speckled Egg! And, according to Tim on his “LIVE” reveal there will be more colors to be released by the end of the year.

Thankful to be part of the Get Cracking on Christmas blog hop organized by Jenn Shurkus. Visit Jenn’s blog http://www.shurkus.com and follow along and get Cracking on your own Christmas and Holiday cards.

Not only do I love the images in the Holiday Drawings set, I fell head over heels in love with Distress Embossing Glaze in Weathered Wood.

Love the little cabin in the woods theme, how it looks all warm and friendly on a winter night and gives the idea that Santa is on his way. And, that Santa, the perfect vintage type of Santa.

Not wanting to distract from the scene I added very minimal sequins and some actual glass, sparkly glitter that has been hoarded in my studio for eons. It was perfect for this wintery, shaker card.

I used Copic Markers on Santa (except his bag), on the pine branches, and on the cabin. Distress Ink for the soft background and on the die cuts used to make the shaker frame.

The little circle sentiment was made with a circle die after stamping the DEC 25 sentiment in Archival Jet Black, placed it on my Versamark pad, coated it completely with Distress Embossing glaze, and repeated that process several times.

A few items were not found in my “Shops” list and substitutes were found where possible. The Stampers Anonymous “Holiday Drawings, CMS284” is available at other sources.

If you purchase from my affiliate links below I do receive a small commission, at no cost to you, that helps offset blog costs!

Thank you SO much for stopping by and for your comments. I love hearing from you!
