Before I share today’s HOME SWEET HOME card I wanted to THANK YOU all for your kind words and comments. They really brightened my day and put a smile on my face and often a giggle! Nothing brings me quite the JOY as sharing what I LOVE with others. So thank you. Tons.
I love being home. Our three kids don’t live under the same roof any longer as they grew up and went on to live lives of their own leaving memories of all our fun times together. Our dogs keep us busy chasing balls (LOL) though.
I love this scene from the HOME SWEET HOME set by Anita Jeram for Colorado Craft Company. Our home isn’t yellow and doesn’t have those quaint little stones but, we do have a purple door. Such a fun and relaxing image to watercolor. I trimmed my paper and mounted it on purple card stock to A6 card size which is 4.75″ x 6.5.” The set comes with one solid scene (shown here) and also individual images and a matching die set and several sentiments. I used Daniel Smith watercolors in my ever expanding collection.

It’s always time to Paw-ty!
This adorable stamp set includes a separate ball and bone, along with the 3 dog stamps and 4 sentiments!
I stamped my own background using the ball and bone, colored my dog with Copic markers, mounted it on dimensional squares on a Stitched Rectangle die with a heat embossed sentiment from the set. But, wait there’s more! I had 2 more dogs left! So on the inside I did this.
So many possibilities with this stamp set but the upright dogs just seemed to be perfect for a little pop-up. Pop up cards are super easy either using a pre-made pop up brand clear plastic “pop block” or one you can make yourself.
Never enough Happy Birthday stamp sets and this one with the pups is so versatile!

Why just drink your beans when you can juggle them, too! I masked the little mouse jumping up on the fancy ( paper pieced) coffee bag and stamped a couple of beans so he could juggle along! There are 8 images in this huge set along with 5 separate sentiments. Truly going to be a FAVORITE among COFFEE stamp LOVERS!
Alaskan’s love their coffee roasters and I am partial to one sold locally in Anchorage but, roasted in Homer, Alaska.
Copic markers colored my image along with a bit of enhancing with colored pencil.
ONE MORE, because I just can’t stop sharing ALL THE CUTENESS!
Hedgehog Day!
The cutest party ever happening in this little hedgehog forest!
Fell head over hedgehogs when I saw these darling images! All colored with Copic Markers and enhanced with colored pencil. The Den die cut is layered with fun foam creating the dimension for the forest. The other little hedgehogs were colored, die cut and popped up on dimensionals. And, then there was glitter. Glitter added a bit of sparkle to the sky. These, hearts make me swoon. I’d get the set for the hearts, alone! LOL!
A word about how I choose colors with Copic Markers. I have my “go to” favorite colors with Copic Markers. Since I started using them over 10 years ago I have a much larger than needed collection. (Ssssh, don’t tell my husband lol!) That said, I sometimes grab and try and grab another color until I get what I’m looking for. So sometimes by the time I’m done with my masterpiece my desk has markers all over. So, I try to give you my best guess at the colors I chose and if I’m “off” I apologize. The best advice I gave my students in class was choose the color combo’s that suit you! That’s what’s important!
