Happiness begins with Mom! The US & Canada will celebrate Mother’s Day on Sunday, May 13, but it’s always a good time to call or celebrate mom. Bagoy’s Florist and Home will be carrying my Mother’s Day cards this year.
Watercolors are so relaxing and there aren’t too many things happier than a rainbow of color. This Neat and Tangled Happiness die had just come in the mail for the day and I’m pretty sure it asked for that paper! Ha! So this is how it came together.
It was love at first sight when seeing Neat & Tangled recent new release and this die was first on my list! My Favorite Things, “MOM” die-namics was in the wings waiting for just the right card.
As I was working on designs for Mother’s Day, it came to me that Mother’s Day cards are perfect for so many. Being mom is a big job whether you are a kid mom, a cat or dog mom, the mom of your kids friends, a step mom and on and on. It’s easy to drop a note in the mail, or even a text or a call to a friend to let them know they are doing a great job!
The other day I had one of the biggest blessings that came as messages on my IG account (do you follow me?) It was a note regarding photos of potato salad and apple pie I had posted in my IG stories. They were from my adult daughters friends. Both ladies messaged me, “Yum.” Further texts mentioned how they remembered growing up eating those things at our house. Special memories are made in the mundane, every day things, Mom’s! Who would have thought? I love those girls and those kind words were such a blessing!
