GORGEOUS FLORALS just in time for SPRING! Another beautiful release of stamps brought to us by Colorado Craft Company! Today they are releasing five (5) new sets with matching dies featuring the lovely, sometimes whimsical, artwork of Kris Lauren of Pretty Little Lines.
Floral Corners #KL622 are truly gorgeous, blooming corner images including 4 sentiments and the cutest little bee!
Another card featuring the other “Corners” image. Background above is a Distress Ink “Smooshing” technique done on watercolor paper with acetate. Both cards Images are stamped, clear, heat embossed and colored in using “Fantastix” coloring tools with the same Distress Inks. This process made coloring the flowers in so quick, easy and matched my background perfectly. And then enhanced them with colored pencil.
One more floral image to share with you today from the Flower Pot set & matching dies.
I just love this little mossy pot! The set has six (6) lovely images; the 2 beautiful bouquets, the adorable little pot & 3 of the cutest little bugs & a bee image. The focal image is water colored, enhanced with colored pencil, adhered to a rectangle die cut with dimensional foam squares. That piece is foam backed and centered on a background using the same floral bouquet image stamped randomly on 4.25×5.5″ card stock. The sentiment is from the new Kris Lauren set “Daffodil Mice.”
GIVEAWAY! Always SO generous, Colorado Craft Company will be giving away one stamp set (Winner’s Choice)from each designer’s blog. Giveaway ends May 7th and winners will be announced on the 9th.

May 3, 2022 at 9:07 amOh my!! These are beautiful. I forget about watercolor smooshing – and it creates such a lovely effect, especially for someone who avoids using my watercolors!! I am in love with the second card – the colored image with the black stamped background is inspirational!! I want to remember that technique!

May 3, 2022 at 7:01 pmI just love these floral cards. Each one is so different. The water coloring just sets off the flowers in your first card. On the second card I really like the idea of stamping the flowers on background cardstock and layered your card up. They are both gorgeous!

May 4, 2022 at 9:06 amLove all your cards and coloring! I especially like the flowers on the smooshed background. I have never colored with Fantastix before. A new technique to try….Using the Flower Pot bouquet on the corners of the background for a striking black and white setting shows the colored set off beautifully. Lots of inspiration and you have made it harder to pick a favorite from the release!

May 4, 2022 at 10:56 amI love the pot of colored flowers and especially like the effect of using the same stamp to print the background “frame by the corner stamping”. Using the same stamp to stamp in the corners forming a frame for the painted flowers is something I am going to try. The watercoloring is very pretty and reminds me of spring. Thank you for your lovely presentation and work!
